Dr. Sanjay Dahasahasra, Former Member Secretary Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran (MJP)He is a past President of the Indian Water Works Association. has put his several years of deep experience in mapping and analyzing Maharashtra’s water resources from river basin / sub basin to the water supply line of dams, rivers, canals, water bodies, storage reservoirs,urban, rural population, using advanced GIS, relational data base management and water balance encompassing urban, rural population, agriculture use,livestock, industrial etc.Dr Dahasahasra book 2 volumes titled Integrated water resources management. This book is a masterpiece developed for Maharashtra and can be used for planning, development, and management of water resources with neatly drawn shape files covering 5 major river basins, 62,621 micro water sheds and 1531 watersheds. He has designed 24×7 water supply for 2 smart cities Aurangabad, and Bhagalpur in India.

Mr. Ajay Saxena, PPP expert, A PPP expert with over 27 years of experience in working with Multilateral Banks (ADB), government entities (GoM), Sovereign Funds (NIIFL) and private sector in different capacities.During his PPP professional tenure, he has worked on PPP Policy development, Project Structuring and Strategy Development including PPP Guidelines Procurement Process, Approval procedures for PPP, Participatory Monitoring & Evaluation. His professional contributions have resulted in facilitation of over 100 projects with a valuation of over Rs. 70,000 crores. He has immensely contributed towards the Successful award of Navi Mumbai International Airport of 60 mln passenger capacity. One of his significant projects includes Hyperloop project which is presently on the decision-making Board. Prof Ligy Philipis Institute Chair Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras. She is a Fellow of National Academy of Engineers (FNAE) and Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). For more than two decades, Prof. Ligy Philip has been contributing significantly to advancing the knowledge in Environmental Engineering, and for the betterment of society through field and industry-oriented projects. She has conducted high quality research on treatment of industrial effluents from highly polluting industries, bioremediation of contaminated soils and groundwater, novel processes for drinking water treatment, and sustainable management of waste. Technologies developed by her have been successfully utilized by several industries and NGOs. She has provided consulting services to many industries in pollution monitoring and control. Reputed international organizations such as Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation utilize her expertise in sanitation. She has served as a member of many expert committees set up by National Green Tribunal, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board and Kerala Pollution Control Board, and is member of several high-level committees of DST. She also has executed many socially relevant projects. Sustainable water and waste management projects are implemented in five villages. The technologies developed by her group were implemented in these villages.

Prof. B S Murty, has been working as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras since December 1998. Prior to this, he taught and researched at IIT Kanpur from July 1989 until December 1998. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Washington State University, Pullman, USA in 1989 and Master’s degree from I.I.Sc., Bangalore in 1984. His main areas of research include computational hydraulics, contaminant transport modeling and pipeline hydraulics. He has guided / co-guided a total of 13 Ph.D., four M.S. (by research) and 48 M. Tech. students in these areas. He has authored / co-authored five book chapters and 76 research publications in peer reviewed international journals. He has carried out several sponsored research projects funded by DST (GoI), Ministry of Water Resources (GoI), Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE) and Indo-German Science and Technology Center. He has also played key role in several inter-disciplinary and inter-institutional projects in the area of water resources management. He was the area coordinator (water) of Indo-German Center for Sustainability at IIT Madras from January 2011 until March 2020.
