Pipeline integrity management using robotic solutions at Mahindra World City
Partnering with SOLINAS, robotic solutions are employed to inspect the health of underground sewer pipelines and detect leaks and potential leaks for rectification at Mahindra World City (MWC). This saves the cost, time and resources in the corrective actions required for location-specific underground pipes with minimal excavations.
At MWC, due to critical defects in the sewer-lines, storm water mixes with sewage and overloads the STP. The robotic solution from SOLINAS are employed to enable better water management. This has been tested in several pipelines of water supply and sewage lines of major water and sewage boards of Tamil Nadu (Chennai and Trichy) and Odisha (Bhubaneswar), in the fourth quarter of 2019.
