Joint R&D with different academic institutions:
ICCW collaborates with the EES (Energy Environment and Sustainability) laboratory at Seoul National University, South Korea, focusing on the advancement of microfluidic electrochemical sensors. This project primarily aims at integrating multiple heavy metal ion sensors onto a single device, enhancing sensitivity through ion concentration. Electrochemical sensing elements tailored to detect specific toxic ions like As3+, Mn2+, Fe3+, Cd2+, and Pb2+ are under development. The microfluidic technology for ion concentration is complemented by the expertise of the EES lab researchers. Given the intricacies of process integration and coordination, extensive optimization studies are underway. Funding for this project is provided by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (DST), and the Ministry of Science and ICT, Republic of Korea (NRF).
Training & Capacity Building programs:
ICCW and X Quiz It, in association with the Department of Chemistry at Stella Maris College (Autonomous), proudly presented H2OQuiz, an enlightening and interactive quiz event designed to dive deep into the essence of our planet’s most vital resource: water.
Internship:
ICCW offers internships to students from various domains.
