TIJU THOMAS
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Dr. Tiju Thomas is an Assistant Professor, Head of “Applied Nanostructure Engineering and Nanochemistry” lab at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, at Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
He was awarded as the ‘INSPIRE Faculty Award’ by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India in Feb 2012 and ‘Fast Track Young Scientist Award’ by DST in May 2016.
His interests are in applied nanostructures and nanochemistry, device materials (including functional ceramics)-electronic and optical properties, nitrides and oxynitrides & hybrid materials, and morphology transitions in nanostructures (theory and experiment).
